Stanley Petey Cox (born January 23, 1982), best known as Mistah F.A.B., is an American rapper, singer-songwriter, record producer, entrepreneur, community organizer and activist. Stanley P. Cox was born on January 23, 1983, in Oakland, California, the son of Stanley Cox, Sr. and Desrie A. Jeffery. He was raised by his mother and grandparents. F.A.B.'s father was incarcerated for much of his childhood and died of AIDS-related complications when he was twelve years old.〔(【引用サイトリンク】 title=Mistah F.A.B. - Da Baydestrian )〕 He attended Oakland Technical High School and transferred to Emery High School where he later graduated. As a teenager, F.A.B. was also an avid basketball player and point guard of his High School team, but after receiving an injury on the court he was forced to quit. Thereafter, he began to take rap seriously, and entered local freestyle battle competitions.
